Foam Pourer

It is a device through which foam is discharged gently on the top of roof tanks ( floating or fixed).It is generally fixed with foam maker with the help of orifice plates. It discharges foam in such a way that the foam slides down gently on the roof area under fire protection. It is generally bolted to the tank so that it doesn’t require any hot job clearance and welding work. It supports low cost installation.

Mechanism of action :

When the foam protection system is activated, the foam generated inside the foam maker will come out as a smooth flow and will be poured on the top of the tank. The orifice plate installed will provide a required flow of foam at a desired operating pressure.
